And I should add......

Recalling your faithful belief, stated a while earlier, that the Fox News people can be trusted for giving watchers the facts, and knowing how skeptical I've been of them for quite some time....I'll continue to trust my assessment of reality.

And don't get me wrong. I'm not downplaying the crisis at the border or within areas of the country bearing the weight. It's horrendous in so many ways, and it's not being tackled head on. It can't be done piecemeal, but needs a comprehensive overhaul that incorporates practicality, reality, logic, firmness, and compassion. And it's not going to happen overnight. But it seems to me that politics and political fears are getting in the way of developing plans that can really achieve something.
