“ Francis Collins was a poor NIH director. He made false promises about the value of genomics and continued a Byzantine grant mechanism without ever assessing it properly. He tried to stifle coronavirus debate, and that might be because he was complicit in the viral origin. History should hold leaders who failed (Fauci, Walensky, Murthy, Collins, Jha, Brixs, Adams) accountable and not lavish them with false awards. I hope the House continues to investigate.
