Kennedy pleaded guilty to a charge of leaving the scene of an accident causing bodily injury and when he challenged president Carter in 1979 CBS aired an interview of Kennedy that focused heavily on Chappaquiddick, even calling him a liar at one point, which ended his run for the White House then and forever.

And you're seriously suggesting Americans "didn't care" about the Monica Lewinsky affair? It was headline news for weeks, months. Clinton was impeached. He never would have won reelection had the affair been revealed in his first term. Orange Jesus even made Bill's sex life a substantial piece of his attacks on Hillary. Or did you also conveniently forget the news conference before their debate. You certainly talked enough about it on TMF.

But sure, the Trump Cult has to pivot to a "who cares about that" attitude now that it's been revealed that despite owning his own private jet Orange Jesus flew the Lolita Express at least seven times, he was found liable for rape, has been accused of sexual misconduct or assault by two dozen women, raw dogged a porn star, had a months long affair with a Playboy model while his wife was pregnant -- and paid money to have both hidden from voters during the presidential election -- and the details of his alleged rape of a thirteen-year-old girl with his BBF Jeffrey Epstein have resurfaced, including information that she dropped the law suit after multiple death threats.

Yet somehow none of that is reported on by the "liberal" media.
