Hello goofyhoofy, I think you've misunderstood the point.
It's local AI that sits at the front, keeping the ads away from you, it's fully under your own choice and control.
You don't even need to speculate about 'what if future free local AI systems won't do that...'.
It can do it right now. Just keep using it.
The business model of putting ads in text-based results is ruined right now, and forever, by existing free tech.
This is just a particular implementation of the "ad blocker" stage of evolution that I mentioned. Followed by, I predict, distorted advice based on product placement within the model itself. Instead of good advice interspersed with annoying ads, you get bad advice. There isn't any obvious way to "block" that, other than switching to a different model, presumably one that costs a lot more money. Including a locally run one.
