Sorry, climate change didn't cause those fires. Rank mismanagement of the land and general incompetence did.

Is that what happened to the electrical grid in Texas? Wasn't that rank mismanagement because it was foreseeable and happened because of Texas cronyism? Was there any cronyism on the wildfires in CA? No one is talking cronyism there. This is the first I've ever heard of a lack of pressure because everyone was spraying down their homes. Now we can look into the small reservoir being out for repairs and see if they took wildfire season into account. It sucks, but it's a human behavior problem and we've got to learn to deal with that because people are human.

So what I would propose as people rebuild is that during wildfires, the only people who can spray their houses down are those pumping from wells and not from the public water supply. How we do that is subject to public debate I would think.
