I would dearly love to be a fly on the wall for the conversation where Pete Hegseth explains to Sen. Joni Ernst, a combat veteran, exactly why he feels that women shouldn't be allowed to serve in combat.

(It would probably also be enlightening to hear the same discussion with Tammy Duckworth, but I'm not sure they'll bother to take that meeting....)
