Yes, you who all of a sudden are pretending to care about "Democracy!" - - when in fact when it's your people in power, there was much about the Bill of Rights and America you wanted to tinker with and resented :)


Don't you feel great knowing, that in case there were subtle hints that your country is compromised by foreign unsavory sources, your American Citizenry has enough critical thinking skills, common heritage, common culture, common knowledge about civics and history that a resounding majority would rise up against such?

I'll take my medicine now. I was wrong to suggest that one day, your country's lack of common culture, common heritage, common pride in civics and history, common knowledge about how rights were obtained and why they must not be taken away, or given away, and knowledge of civics and governmental norms ....might not exist.

The good news: You'll easily have Congress in 2026. And with your current typical mindset, a Corporate dem will win in 2028 and you can spend 4 years getting some stuff done, and spending time being owned by a few Red State Senators whose most worldly experience is eating at the International House of Pancakes----yet they'll be owning you a bit.

And in that environment, you can deal with a trillion buck problem here and there :)
