I'm fairly sure they took an oath to preserve and defend the constitution.But they had their fingers crossed behind their backs when they took that oath, so it is null and void.
Back in 1981 I attended training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Georgia in order to be a commissioned Federal Law Enforcement Officer. Overall I thought the training was good and there was definitely an emphasis on the Constitution and citizen's rights. I wonder what is going on there now? Unless things have changed, almost all LE agencies sent their people to FLETC for training.
