Dear LurkerMom,

Thank you for your extremely pleasant Open Letter. To see people so active this last month is really a joy for me. For many of these authors, and even more readers, these message boards are not merely 'substituting' with some other time-spending, but really adding relationships back into their lives, filling what for many was expressed to me in emails literally as emptiness, and despondence. That has been completely replaced with merry spirits, and I have put my soul into almost every little pixel to make it fun to use.

I have kept track of and enjoyed reading your posts also amongst many others. Let's continue the culture for another 25 years, and then beyond - and try to pass the merry and shrewd self-education spirit to other generations. Accordingly I posted an investing beginners post here -- Manlobbi writes on Welcome! -- and hope that people will invite their grand children or other youthful ones to the board, similar as some started here 25 years ago.
