I saw a clip of Maher, and it got me thinking. He said there can be no "October surprise" for the convict. Thinking about it, he's right.

We already know how horrible a person and candidate he is. He has already done everything horrible he could do, from committing felonies (convicted and adjudicated), outrageous comments like grabbing women by their genitals, admiration for Putin and Xi, his various fascist statements (yes, I mean "fascist" in a non-hyperbolic way...he is a fascist, even if he doesn't carry the card), election interference...there is virtually nothing he could do that would be a "surprise".

Harris, on the other hand, could have an October surprise because she hasn't done all those awful, vile, venal, illegal things. So if there is a revelation that she did even one horrible thing, it would be a surprise and might have an effect on the election.
