So are you going to chastise Trump for pardoning roughly 300 violent people who have been duly convicted of that violence?

Yes, I do. He has served more time that most murderers. Sure, there's a few who actually do serve life in prison, but the majority eventually get parole. He has been behind bars for over 50 years. He is also 80 years old and in very poor health. He does not present a danger to society. And he will still be subject to all of the typical post-release conditions. He was not pardoned, his sentence was simply shortened. As a convicted felon, he will not be allowed to posses or be near a firearm.

No, I do not. If the mob had dispursed after a brief bit of violence and mayhem, I might have felt differently. But they fought in very literal hand to hand combat for several hours. They refused to back down. They pressed on in their attacks on police officers long past the point of simply making a statement. And they are - for the most part - unrepentant. Many would do it again in a heartbeat if Trump dropped the right hints. Some are reported to comment that the next time they'll bring firearms.
