Why would anyone want to invest in the US?
The US culture is very positive towards business opportunism and risk taking.
The value of investments is the accumulated value (growth plus dividends) over not 2 years, but over 15+.
Leadership changes over that time.. but one thing doesn’t change much: Despite the US making consistently immoral and terrible foreign policy decisions for decades, the power structure remains heavily dedicated to investors interests. Public interest - not; investor interests - indeed. I find that unlikely to significantly change.
That constant, along with business value related to what accumulates over decades rather than months or years, is what makes the US remain a great place to invest.
