But this sucks - Billy Joel not well.

ouch! And Val Kilmer just a few days ago.

Val moved on nearly 2 months ago.

We saw him perform his Mark Twain one man show a good 10 or 15 years ago in the Laguna Playhouse.

Before the show began he walked around the playhouse greeting early arrivals seated in the little theater. When he came up into the balcony and greeted my wife (who was enamored of his DocHoliday swagger, and his TopGun volleyball playing charms for a long time) she was momentarily tongue-tied. I'm sure he dealt with that a lot.

Interesting how celebs deal with the hard realities we all eventually face.
