as you well know, its all theatrical talk so far. it even sounds like albaby is now saying CAN damage rather than WILL damage.

here are examples of what i do NOT consider real damage :
- trump attempting to return the tesla he supposedly bought (with cash up front i imagine, given his dislike of outstanding debt)
- changes in sentiment (with 1 downstream exception)
- threats of revoking current\future gov contracts
...


here are examples of what i consider real damage, but possibly survivable :
- stop payments of gov contracts to musk companies (yes, even if this is a pause while fought in courts)
- cuts in the budget bill on the order of what musk promised at doge (~$2t)
- musk making large\equivalent donations to gop\MAGA opposition
- sentiment causing tesla to trade @ or below intrinsic value as a car mfg (~$40 and declining) rather than technofantasy
