Hey K..... Thanks for checking in on me man It’s bad…. We lost all our probationary employees a few weeks ago
I lost 1 out of 2 trainees Monday is the return to office for everyone.
And we are anticipating bad news
Not sure how they will do the RIF. If they follow the normal RIF procedures, I’m probably safe. If they just randomly cut departments and groups, it’s a different story. Management knows nothing.
There’s also talk of basically consolidating all the offices
The offices projected to close include San Marcos, Santa Ana, San Bernardino, & Glendale (my POD). They might just force us to work from the federal building. But I don’t even know who will survive or what work environment we will be in
Every Monday we have to email Elon our 5 accomplishments from the previous week
Me: So it's doom and gloom there at this point. I would think much of the government is similar. We're screwed, it will take years to recover. I'm reading they want to cut 50% of the staff.
