Actually, there are two subgroups of humanity that, apparently, take him seriously. the MAGA base, and Mr Market, as they happily whipsaw themselves to death, stampeding according to every bit of nonsense that comes out of his piehole. The rest of the world probably wonders, why USians can't grasp his first priority is making himself richer, and he is playing the base and the market for fools. The second priority is building monuments to himself, but he has the checkbook of the United States to cover his every whim, on that score.

President Donald Trump on Thursday claimed that the U.S. “just made a great settlement of the war with Iran,” subject to the “finalization of documents.”
Trump said in the Oval Office that he expects a signing to occur “over the next few days,” repeating similar claims he has made numerous times over the course of the war.
