I’ve been advocating for cleaning up waste and fraud in a time period measurable in units of “decades”.

I could do it in a few weeks. It would keep a LOT of honest people VERY busy for that time period, but then it would all be over. And it would never happen again--unless people choose to ignore history. Because those who ignore history repeat it--over and over again.
