It looks like the BBC is willing to kowtow to tyrants.

They're the party of the Royals. What do you expect. They were almost giddy during the run-up to King Chuck's coronation (we were on a cruise, and BBC is one of the channels available in the cabins). But if you read other sources, a lot of folks consider the Royals an anachronism, and would rather abolish it. I think it was something like 30% were in favor of getting rid of them (from memory). A minority, but not at all reflected in the coverage by the BBC.

So, of course they bow to King Felon.
