Sure you can. Since these titles have no established requirement for skill, experience, or knowledge.anyone can be one.

In fact, I have applied for professorship at the BITEME institute. It is a straightforward application; no tedious letters of referral or transcripts required; just name and mailing address, specify the position title you wish to have bestowed, attach the $10 application fee and in two weeks, voila, Professor BHM.
