The regime is operating the sort of corporate environment I worked in, for decades. Anyone who does not feed the big dog's delusions is pushed out. Those that are "good team players" are rewarded.

‘Remember that?’ Trump again asks Americans to recall something that never happened

President Donald Trump asked Americans on Thursday if they remembered a massive television outage two years ago.

That outage didn't happen. As he has before, the president who is fond of telling imaginary tales was explicitly asking people to recall something he had made up.

This time, Trump's fictional story was about wind energy. He has for years railed against it, tried to thwart it and made false claims about it – including a phony anecdote about how, in places where wind power is used, people can't turn on their TVs when the wind isn't blowing.

I remember Saint Reagan doing the same thing, usually passing off movie script content, as fact.

President Ronald Reagan famously mistook a dramatic scene from the 1944 movie A Wing and a Prayer for a real-life World War II event. He tearfully recounted a fictional B-17 pilot going down with a trapped, wounded gunner as a true story of a posthumous Medal of Honor recipient before an audience of actual medal winners

And Trump the Conqueror claiming the four KIA a week ago were so determined that Iran would not have a nuke.
