True. As for ideas to "attack" Iran, why not a cyber attack against their power and water infrastructure?
Hard to see how that would be effective in achieving our war goals. The regime has shown utter indifference to the well-being of its people, so this isn't likely to change their calculus in deciding what terms to agree to or refuse. There are limits to how much lasting damage these attacks can cause as well - you can cause massive disruption in the short term, but eventually whatever harm you cause with cyberattacks can be patched and fixed. Not all of it, of course, but certainly enough to mitigate the more severe immediate effects. It's the sort of thing that hurts - so it's important to defend against it - but not the sort of thing that would render Iran unable to continue resisting us.
