A: I remind them that there is a man with a scary name running for office in another state.
The local "news" at noon showed Repubs running for state office this fall. They were saying "It's been so bad under Whitmer, and remember the lost decade under Granholm?". They didn't mention Snyder, the Repub between the two Dems. He brought us the Flint water crisis, the lowest per capita road maintenance funding in the country, cut funding cities and counties use to provide services to citizens, and raised taxes on the working poor and retirees, so that "JCs" could have two rounds of tax cuts. Heck no the GOP doesn't want to talk policy in public. They try to frighten us with the "Commies" instead.
