And again, that's just nonsense.

He's just wishing that someone would run against Biden. But no one is, and no one's going to.

The filing deadlines for the early primary states have already passed. The filing deadlines for all the primaries up to Super Tuesday will be passing in the next few weeks. By Christmas, nearly all the Super Tuesday filing deadlines will have expired, too.

It's not happening. No one's entering the race to challenge Biden. And even if Biden were to come to the conclusion that he's not in a great spot to win re-election, it's too late for someone to start from zero and have a better chance to beat the Republican nominee. Which makes him really, really unlikely to leave the race.
