And stop pretending an awful lot of liberals weren't ecstatic about Kirk.

Being ecstatic about a death does not mean one approves of the means by which the death occured. Shooting the guy was demented, same as shooting school kids, senators and puppies.

It would have been far more meaningful if a lightening bolt from the heavens struck him down. But, come to think about it... if everything happens 'because god', who are we to question his divine act? His will has been done on earth as it is in heaven?
