Paper tiger? That's the 2nd stupidest thing I've read so far. Congrats.
The "paper tiger" merely eliminated an entire Air Force, Navy and command structure in like a week. And did it over the top of some of your favorite countries' best systems and advice.
The paper tiger won the battle and lost the war. The U.S. is clearly worse off in the region than it was before the war. No matter what the childish scorecard of airplanes and ships and dead civilians says, the Iranian regime survived, they hold all of their neighbors and 20% of the world's oil supply hostage, and they're in a position to make outlandish demands while the U.S. president squirms in his attempts to extricate himself from a bad situation that gets worse by the day.
When a future historian writes The Decline and Fall of the American Empire, the beginning of the decline will be identified as inauguration day January 20th, 2025.
