In Oklahoma, a domestic militia calling itself “Veterans on Patrol” is systematically targeting weather radars. Their leader, Michael Lewis Arthur Meyer, claims the military is controlling the weather through Doppler radar systems and that these machines are part of a divine affront—a “weather weapon” — that is “mocking God Himself.” He’s encouraging his followers to sabotage these radars under an operation he calls “Leaning Tower.” This isn’t just fringe paranoia: it’s part of a growing anti-reality insurgency that threatens our democracy itself.

We can trade counter examples all day, but in the end, when there is actual political violence on the left, most Democratic leaders condemn it.

And on the other hand, we have January 6th, 2021..

Paul Pelosi almost beaten to death with a hammer…

And more recently, the assassination of a Democratic state senator and her husband.

What do we get from Republican leadership? A couple of them actually decried the violence. May their lives be long and may their endeavors find success.

But from the largest majority of them?

Crickets..
Or sick jokes..
Or attempts to blame liberals.
