canadian fossil makes up ~20% of american refined product, as many refiners geared towards heavy crude. minus this, and plus services, america runs a small trade surplus. so obviously america is ripping off canada. who needs logic?

but ALL that fossil cannot but redirected. less of it will still hurt at the pump, because it is the sacred duty or american supermajors to raise prices on any spin. not that trump cares about affordability of anything; that's just grumbling by a few gop candidates with midterm worries. they can chant 'fiscal conservatives', 'communists', and make it go away.
