Never heard of the guy before. But apparently he's already providing Dems ammunition for their campaigns. In addition to the other things already mentioned, his first press conference was a disaster (i.e. a bonanza for Dem campaign people). - 1pg

Driving back from Costco today I heard a speech by Johnson thanking his colleagues for the honor, then he launched into a pseudo sermon. Something from the scripture to the effect that God's plan brings the best people together to govern in these trying times and with his guidance, yada, yada, yada...

I am not doing a good job of remembering all of his religious references, but needles to say, I found it off putting. That said, he is light years better than Pelosi or Hakeem Jeffries, so I can put up with a little religious talk, actually a lot of religious talk, when Jeffries is the alternative.
