Not sure whether this has been pointed out ... but new 2x ETFs have been recently launched that offer 2x the return of the SPY & QQQ (and a few other tickers also) across a week or a month (provided you buy at the correct time & hold it for the period - then the ETFs rebalance). They've been launched by Tradr ETFs at tradretfs.com: Tradr ETFs .

So ... if you have a week or month SPY or QQQ strategy that is highly reliable with a sufficiently high probability of success you could juice those weekly or monthly returns without resorting to using your own leverage. Be careful though these products could really hurt (in a similar fashion to the daily 2x ETFs but more slowly)!
