As Jim has mentioned, the advice provided by Inv. Gurus may be worth listening to even though there inv perf may not be what you desire.
As an aside, I had an account with Whitney in the early days, 2001? until he shut down the fund approx 10 yrs later. His outperf was outstanding for many yrs however leverage via the Short market wiped out almost all the outperf & ended up with a very small , 1/2% per yr, outperf of the S&P. Still way better than several other LLP’s that I had experience with.
