You didn't show they got it right, nor does what the CDC say show that they got it right

The conspiracy theorists believe that Covid was of man made origin, that Covid was deliberately created in a lab, and then leaked from that lab.

Nowhere in your posted response does the CDC say that Covid was created by man, or that it escaped from the lab. I agree that China's response was abysmal when it comes to being transparent or assisting the Global community in discovering its origins. But the conspiracy theorists aren't shown to be correct by this declaration at a Heritage Foundation event. You have completely misrepresented this HCLA.

So a totalitarian government acted in a totalitarian way during the pandemic, but we still have no smoking gun that shows it was DELIBERATELY CREATED in the lab, or that it was ACCIDENTALLY CREATED in the lab and then ACCIDENTALLY RELEASED.

I'd like to hear from the fellow who thinks it was totally preventable, because I don't see how and I'd like to read how he thinks that.
