I wondered what the process was going to be for these "arrests". The only way Abbot should win is if he's figured out a way to immediately deport them and they can't dome back. "How could he accomplish that?" I wondered. If he's just jailing them and they get regular process, he's just pissing out money and wasting people's time. - CO

As word spreads that if Texas DPS catches you trespassing you get a six month time out before continuing on your odyssey, maybe the migrants will shy away and start using official ports of entry where they are sure to be first embraced by the loving arms of Mayorkas DHS.

Abbott is "here's your jail cell", Mayorkas is "here's your plane ticket". What would you choose?

Promoting the use of official ports of entry was something I thought we all agreed on....
