So, back in the day, I believe someone started a thread on the old MF boards based on this article:

Anyway, ran into it while looking through some bookmarks, so figured I'd post this update. Almost exact same performance as SPY. One caveat, two of the stocks stopped trading last month, so I entered their last price. November was a good month, so portfolio returns might be a couple percent higher had they continued to trade. Basically, 2 stocks carried the 10 stock portfolio, and 6 of the stocks significantly underperformed SPY.
