Indeed it has been Russia all along. Feeding lies to the Republicans who willingly took those lies (maybe even knowing or at least suspecting that they were lies) and desperately tried to turn those lies into an impeachment of Biden.
Now as the truth is coming out and the 'sources of information' are being revealed to be Russian assets and are in prison or being investigated for their role in the disinformation campaign, the Republicans in the House are trying vainly to hang on to something they thought would help them get Trump reelected. It's pathetic and disgusting.

But two GOP-invited witnesses failed to advance any new claims, while Lev Parnas, a former operative for Rudy Giulani who was invited by Democrats, recanted his past work and testified he never found any evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden.
Democrats were quick to point to statements from a growing roster of Republican skeptics of the probe, asking the GOP to name the high crime or misdemeanor that underlies their impeachment investigation.
