FYI-Just received an email invite to the Markel dinner and brunch at the Omaha Marriott during the Berkshire meeting weekend. I believe the brunch is open registration but the dinner is for registered shareholders.

I’d strongly recommend them both! Been each of the last 2 years- cozy dinner atmosphere with a very nice buffet. Cool to meet and dine alongside Tom Gayner and some of the readily approachable and gifted Markel Exec. team at the dinner gathering. Sat alongside new Markel Board member,Larry Cunningham, & his wife for dinner. They and others in attendance were delightful and great conversationalists. The brunch is always overflowing with lots of quality Q&A, so I always arrive 20 min. early. Hope other shrewds will register.
