Yes, and if America wishes to put citizenship status on licenses, I hope "Americ can do what it likes" also.

"FWIW, I'm not opposed to national ID cards as long as they are free, so anyone who is eligible can get one. Wealth should not be a barrier to proving your citizenship status."

That is a fair sentiment. It's reasonable.

How's it feel to be a minority of one :)
