It's clear that the Biden-haters here will grasp at whatever straws they can to turn the positives of a major piece of bipartisan economic legislation to a negative. ,/i>

If the goal of the Chips Act is to ramp up domestic production as fast as possible, then DEI requirements do not advance that objective at all and actually slows down progress, tat is here the negative enters the picture. To include unrelated criteria only increases the friction of making progress. Hire candidates who can do the job, period.
