Former “student” of Tim Walz slams Walz, but then an investigation turns up the real former student at Mankato High, who says, pointing to his face when shown the video of the fake student who stole his name in order to make the video, “Obviously, I’m not that guy.”

It originally appeared on X, but was re-tweeted to other accounts, eventually making its way to Telegraph, Rumble and Truth Social. It’s still up on several accounts and has been viewed 5.4 million times.

Elon Musk has not responded to questions about the video, which has successfully spread the lie that Walz groped him while he was his student at Mankato High.

The entire rightwing social media is complicit in spreading real lies that slander real people and do real damage to real people who never signed up to have their lives hijacked, as this man’s life was hijacked.

Trump may not have been directly responsible for the fake video, but this is the sewer he swims in and has encouraged.
