I suspect that the "market" doesn't trust Meta. Look at Amazon versus Meta for example:
Amazon - Made some huge capex investments early on, got some criticism, but pretty soon earned a quite nice ROI. Meanwhile, invested more over the years, and just announced an even huger Capex going forward. Stock up. Because the "market" trusts them since they shown good ROI previously.
Meta - Made some huge capex investments early on, some criticism but business doing great, cash flow great, etc. More huge capex, and even changed the name of the company to reflect what they were expending all the capex on. The large capex delivered nearly zero ROI. Now investing even more, but the "market" doesn't trust them. Stock down.
