This is part of your continued unrealistic performative thinking. Trump has to be perceived as performing on his promises there, because he has a bunch of stuff that he cannot perform on. It was easily foreseeable that he would go after the low hanging fruit - those easiest to catch, and would not worry to much about legality. We're simply pointing out to you that this is a result of your wishes and your vote. We just didn't know the exact shape it would take.
