first, this must annoy him greatly as trump was hoping much of the RNC campaign donations could go towards pocketing the cash via advisor fees for family & friends.

next, trump's desperation is such that he is spending heavily in the a LEAST-swingy state of NC, where he became the first presidential GOP candidate to trail in polls since obama. although the lead is still within error, the amount of lead erased is significant and not within error.

amplifying trump's pain in NC is the downticket race with the deranged GOP candidate Mark Robinson, trying to replace a popular Dem Governor that reached his term limit.
Robinson's primary platform is on denying reproductive rights. in a pre-emptive move, he is running ads regarding his own mistake to decide for an abortion some time ago, but clearly wants to deny the same to all others. (he is saying it was a 'family' decision, but anyone watching clips of his aggressive misogynistic behavior can be certain who made the decision)
will this help even in a state with plenty of low info MAGA? maybe not.
