And Mr Buffett bought and paid for all 508,998 of those Berkshire Hathaway shares with his own money.

Musk, as I understand it, got the vast majority of his Tesla wealth, from issuing himself share options and promoting Tesla into its current bubble valuation.

Mr Buffett’s wealth is rock solid and realisable. Whereas Musk’s net worth should be heavily discounted for the fact it is ‘good until reached for’.
