Recent disclosures show that Trump has invested millions in Nvidia, Amazon, and Apple recently. Also Adobe, Microsoft, Dell, Oracle, Intel, and a host of other tech stocks.

And also, unusually, a sizable stake (between $1m - $5m) in a sushi restaurant chain located exclusively in California, Kura Sushi USA. There are no other restaurants or restaurant chains that have met the minimum disclosure requirements, and Trump famously hates sushi, “Dead fish”, as he calls it.

So one has to wonder if they meant to buy Fujikura, a Japanese firm working in AI.

For a guy who confuses “incursion” (from media reports) with “excursion” for the Iran, uh, incursion…

Or hears “cisgender’ and thinks it’s “six - gender” …

Or thinks “asylum” means we’re letting insane people in …

Or hears “transgenic mice” and thinks there are scientists trying to make transgender mice ..

Or… but I’m going with “He didn’t really mean to buy into a sushi restaurant chain, but will never admit that it was a screwup.”
