Biden is trying to project more concern about the border than earlier (say 2021 or 2022). That isn't resonating with folks like yourself, but it may be making some inroads into the swing voters. Still too early to tell, IMO.
I agree with 1, 2 and 4**, definitely. I don't think Biden will do 3. It might make him look weak. He needs to show the public that he isn't too old, or at least if he is, then his opponent is just about the same age with the same (or worse) problems.
I'm hardly a campaign wonk. But I think Biden needs to emphasize Jan 6, the various criminal proceedings, the already-done rulings (e.g. rape of Carroll), Trump's -sometimes incoherent- ramblings, his numerous positive statements about dictators, and the like. As well as Biden's infrastructure package, siding with the unions (e.g. walking picket lines), creation of new jobs beyond that which was just part of coming out of COVID self-quarantining, etc.
**Except it isn't creepy. It's sensible. If I traveled in the celebrity circles, I would NOT associate with Trump. At all. I wouldn't invite him to my galas, I wouldn't accept any invites from him. He is creepy, and disgusting, and odious, and any other negative superlative you care to mention. I can't understand why at least 1/3 of the country don't see his creepiness, and will vote for him even if he shoots someone on 5th Avenue and starts wearing a swastika armband (and grows a weird little moustache). Literally, I think 1/3 of the country would still support him. I foresee much wailing if he is sent to prison, and more wailing when he dies...like the images of women in Gaza wailing over their dead relatives.
