But I like that he is trending AWAY from Club 401K.

The imaginary Club 401K. It's long been known trying to get the votes together on the left side is like herding cats. Bit Gavin is actually taking a middle of the road stance. I've long believed some of the left talk down to the right, but some of the right hate and despise the left, and mischaracterizing the stances on the left (strawmen) is prevalent because it makes it easier to hate and defeat.

But all that is by the wayside now, as we have someone who is just pandering to the masses on the right and may have an inkling that he can destroy things, but only cares what the immediate reaction is in his base, so he can keep power. This is a formula for stumbling into an inflationary recession.

And... if you were successful flipping houses how come you aren't doing very well? My parents house would be a nice house, but it isn't near the job market. The fellow next door to me flips properties, turns some into rentals, and bought the burned out property next door to me for 10k. It was 95% smoke damage, so he tears off the drywall, rewires and replumbs where necessary. We're in a place where you need a permit to put in a new front door or new windows and expensive high impact windows are required.

Club 401K is imaginary because you can get a 401K if self employed, but a SEP IRA is the usual, and when I do tax returns there are plenty oif those. It's just an easy catch buzzword.

What would we call you that would be the equivalent? Club NAZI? Club Resentment?

We aren't taking care of the poor or the lower classes by tearing apart the government and eliminating all support. Just dwindle down support over 10 years or so, as you ramp up opportunities. But remember, no one promised that life would be easy. Life is rough and tough, then you die, and usually alone.
