Not sure where you are getting this information, but a clarification about Canadian tariffs. They are dollar-for-dollar - no more, no less. So every dollar of tariff that the US has introduced has been met with an equal Canadian tariff.

What about the protectionist tariffs you have, on say, dairy products and other things? Why is Canada allowed to slap punitive fees on US goods but not the other way 'round?

Same goes for all the other countries.
