So there goes DiFi proposing the exact same deal that Reagan flubbed in the '80s. How do you think that was received?

DiFi didn't propose the deal - it was the position of the entire Gang of Six. You said it was because she shot for the moon - but that wasn't a moon shot. It was the bipartisan framework that the GOP negotiators had also agreed to. It was the deal that Donald Trump had said in the room that he could support.

If you want to say that the Gang of Six blew up the bipartisan deal that the Gang of Six proposed by doing....well, I'm not sure how they blew it up. By proposing it? By agreeing to what Donald Trump said he would support?

No - there was an agreement between the negotiating teams from both parties, but then the immigration hardliners came in and killed the deal that they had brokered. Dianne Feinstein didn't kill the deal - the hardliners did.
