Buffett did it in a respectful way, as always. Watch what he does, he can be a man of few words at times.

Personally I think it has more to do with Melinda not being there than it does with Bill still being there.* Her departure is the recent news, after all.

I think he liked the original tag team management setup at BMG. The official condition was merely that at least one of them "remain alive and active in the policy-setting and administration", but I suspect he preferred two to one, the dynamic duo.
