Aunt Jemima:

Nancy Green portrayed the Aunt Jemima character at the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago and was one of the first Black corporate models in the United States.Subsequent advertising agencies hired dozens of actresses to perform the role as the first organized sales promotion campaign.

Like Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima was not a real person but an image created to sell a food brand.

The images of black “uncles” and “aunts” as subservient bearers of good food enjoyed by white people have been retired by the food industry.

Cheer up, Dope. They were market decisions, driven by analyses of the comparative costs of keeping vs dropping images of subservient blacks on the boxes of their products.
