If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

Trump has been teasing his tariffs for weeks. I think he waited till April Fool's Day+1 because it was after the end of the first quarter. It was a brutal quarter and any fool could see that. His announcement would have only made it worse. I think that he postponed it until the beginning of the second quarter of the year to give himself some time, 30 to 90 days, to jawbone and manipulate the markets.
